so life is busy

So a lot has happened in the last month...so much that I haven't had the chance to continue my trials as a blogger. My family of 4 is an active one...so to stay busy we decided to take on a fifth member not including our two dogs and our cat who thinks he's a dog. Enter our foreign exchange student from Germany.  We are now entering our 7th week with Timm and things are going great! We've had a number of adventures so far...hopefully things continue to go well!

This is my first blog so I hope you will bear with me as I learn my way around.

If you haven't already noticed my name is Lisa. I am a wife to a loving husband and mother to two boys ages 7 and 10. My family is unique and this blog, if nothing else, will hopefully help others to understand  the trials and tribulations of a busy non-traditional American family.
